Limited production capacity within ammunition manufacturing can pose substantial challenges, especially during periods of high demand. When confronted with a surge in the need for ammunition, such as during military conflicts or rapid mobilisations, existing production infrastructure might become strained, resulting in bottlenecks that hinder the timely supply of critical munitions. With strategic foresight, we overcome the challenges posed by limited production capacity to deliver a range of 120mm mortar rounds.
Our cutting-edge 120mm PFF prefragmented ammunition utilises a revolutionary approach in its design, featuring TNT filling that is pressed rather than conventionally cast. This method not only ensures consistent quality and performance but also addresses a critical challenge that has historically plagued traditional casting manufacturing – the cooling process.
Traditionally, casting methods require molten materials to be poured into moulds, followed by a lengthy cooling process. This cooling phase often introduces delays in production timelines and can be a bottleneck, particularly in high-demand scenarios where rapid production is essential. By opting for a pressed filling approach, we have effectively eliminated the need for this time-consuming cooling step.
